This Privacy Policy explains how ProcXray (the “App”) and the procxray.com website (the “Site”) handle information.
1. What we collect
A. Information you provide
- Purchase and support details: If you contact us or request help, you may provide information such as your email address and the details of your request.
B. Information processed for licensing
To issue, look up, and validate licenses, our services may process and store:
- License key
- Transaction identifiers (e.g. Paddle transaction ID)
- Customer identifiers (e.g. Paddle customer ID)
- Email address (if available from the purchase flow)
- Device activation data: a device identifier (
device_id) and an optional device name (device_name) associated with your license activation
D. Anonymous usage data
To understand how the App is used and improve the product, the App may automatically collect:
- Installation identifier: a randomly generated ID (UUID) created on first launch, stored locally on your device. This ID is not linked to your name, email, or any personal information.
- App events: event type (e.g. app launch, first launch, license activation), timestamp, app version, operating system version, CPU architecture, and locale.
This data is anonymous — it cannot identify you personally. It is transmitted to our servers over HTTPS and stored in our database. No personal information, IP addresses, or location data is collected or stored as part of usage analytics.
C. Payment information
Payments are processed by our payment provider (Paddle). We do not receive or store your full payment card details. Paddle may collect and process payment and billing information under its own privacy policy.
2. How we use information
We use the information above to:
- Create and deliver license keys after purchase
- Validate and manage license activations (e.g. enforce activation limits)
- Provide the license lookup / success flow (including secure full-key reveal when authorized)
- Prevent fraud, abuse, and duplicate processing of payment events
- Understand product usage patterns and improve the App (via anonymous usage data)
- Provide customer support and respond to inquiries
3. Where information is stored
License and purchase-related data is stored on our backend infrastructure (including our database) to operate the licensing system.
4. Data retention
We retain licensing and purchase records for as long as needed to:
- Provide ongoing license access and activations
- Maintain accounting, security, and operational records
If you want us to delete or update certain information, contact us as described below. Some information may need to be retained for legal, security, or operational reasons.
5. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we store. No system is 100% secure; please use the App and Site at your own risk.
6. Your choices
- You can choose not to provide optional fields (for example, a device name during activation).
- You may request access, correction, or deletion of certain data by contacting us.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date on this page when changes are made.
8. Contact
